  • What is the purpose of an Academic Intervention Program?
The Academic Intervention Program is designed to provide additional academic assistance to students with special needs. It employs a developmental approach, focusing on enhancing the student's abilities, improving academic skills, and promoting overall growth.
  • Who will provide the academic intervention?
The intervention is provided by teachers who are trained in special education. These professionals possess the knowledge and skills to provide targeted, developmentally appropriate instruction based on the student's unique needs.
  • How are students identified for the Academic Intervention Program?
Students with special needs are identified through a comprehensive assessment process, which can include cognitive, behavioral, and developmental evaluations. This process helps determine the specific academic interventions that each student may require.
  • What approach does the Academic Intervention Program follow?
The Academic Intervention Program follows a developmental approach, catering to the individual needs of each student. It focuses on building foundational skills, reinforcing academic content, and teaching strategies for effective learning, all tailored to the unique capabilities and learning style of the student.
  • How will the progress of students in the Academic Intervention Program be measured and reported?
Progress is usually measured through ongoing, individualized assessments that take into account the student's unique learning profile. Regular reports, often tied to individual education plans (IEPs), are typically provided to parents and relevant school staff.
  • What support services are available to students in the Academic Intervention Program?
Support services can include individual or group instruction, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, counseling, and access to adaptive educational resources. The specific services offered will be based on the unique needs of each student.
  • How can parents be involved in their child's Academic Intervention Program?
Parents can play a crucial role by supporting their child's learning at home, regularly communicating with teachers, attending IEP meetings, and advocating for their child's needs.
  • How will the school ensure the well-being of students in the Academic Intervention Program?
The school is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment that respects the individual needs and potential of each student. This includes offering a supportive and understanding setting that promotes positive reinforcement and encouragement.
  • Do you assign LRN for this program?
We do not assign Learner Reference Numbers (LRN). Please know that our program is a developmental approach designed as a supportive tool to complement your child's current academic program. Our mission is to provide targeted, individualized support to help your child overcome specific academic challenges. We believe our program can be a valuable resource to boost your child's academic success and confidence.
  • How much does this cost?
Depending on the program - range is from Php 80k-120k for the whole school year
  • How long is the class?
Depending on the program - range is from 1.5 hrs- 3 hrs per day
